At First Baptist Church of Mexico, we believe that music is an important way to give our talents back to God. That is why we try to provide some type of musical outlet for everyone that wants to join.
Wednesday at 7:00 pm, our sanctuary choir practices. We have a great deal of fun at practice and consider practice to be a time of worship as well. Our sanctuary choir is made up of a standard 4-part group including soprano, alto, tenor, and bass. Our group loves to welcome in new members and enjoys lifting their voices to God.
Our handbell ensemble has just been formed and looks to be a great group! Bell ringing has long been a staple of rejoicing in God and our group loves to rejoice. This group is always looking for a little help as well!
It’s coming! We are still looking for a few volunteers to help out with this group. Children’s choir is a great way to get kids used to singing in church and using their talents for God. If you are interested in helping, please let Chris know.
Our praise team is a great group consisting of instrumentalists and a few vocalists that lead in worship on Sunday morning. If you are interested in helping out as a vocalist or an instrumentalist, please let Chris know!
