GA Sleepover

This year’s annual sleepover was so much fun!  The girls hung out at the Fallout Shelter playing games, making crafts and hanging out with each other.  There was plenty of food and laughs!  Our group meets weekly on Sunday nights and the GA purpose is the same as our pledge:  “As a GA , I will do my best to live a missions lifestyle that honors God by learning about missions, praying for missions, giving to missions, doing missions, and participating in the work of the church.”  Our sleepover was just that!  We learned about a missionary who ministers to North African and Middle Eastern peoples now living in Texas.  The girls also put together batches of cookies to deliver to those who work in service related fields in Mexico.  These were accepted warmly and with big smiles.  The girls look forward to next year’s sleepover.
